Dr. Lanktree trained at the University of Manitoba, Canada, Yale University, and Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, and is a Clinical Associate Professor at the Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California. She has spent the last 20 years working with individuals, couples, and families who have experienced:

 

  • child abuse or neglect
  • family violence
  • sexual or physical assault
  • loss of loved ones (including pets)
  • serious or chronic medical problems or injuries
  • other losses (including jobs and relationships)
  • relationship issues associated with past child abuse or trauma in one or both partners
  • problems associated with working in the entertainment industry

Her approach is respectful and compassionate, supporting trauma processing in the context of a safe and caring relationship.

Dr. Lanktree is the developer of Integrative Treatment of Complex Trauma (ITCT). She provides professional training and consultation in the area of child and adult trauma treatment, and delivers conference keynotes and workshops. She regrets that she cannot accept forensic, child custody, or civil litigation cases.
